TYLER RAND, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Tyler Rand brings over a decade of arts administration experience to the Symphony, with a special emphasis in classical music marketing and fundraising. Originally from Massachusetts, Tyler has lived and worked in Miami, FL; Valencia, Spain; and Chattanooga, TN. He previously served as the A2SO’s Marketing & Public Relations Manager and Director of Marketing & Communications. Prior to relocating to Ann Arbor, Tyler held various positions at Classical 90.5 WSMC in Chattanooga, Tennessee, including On-Air Host, Music Director, and Program Director. He is also an experienced oboist, composer, and conductor. He holds a bachelor’s degree in music theory with an emphasis in oboe performance with additional studies in Spanish. Tyler is especially passionate about equity and access in the arts and is a member of the Composer Diversity Project. He has helped commission several works from living composers and is an advocate for new music. Outside of music, Tyler enjoys the study of languages, New England sports teams, and spending time in the outdoors with his Siberian Husky, Niko.
LORI ZUPAN, BUSINESS MANAGER
Lori Zupan is responsible for budgeting, tracking and managing all of the A2SO’s finances, as well as coordinating subscription ticket sales and producing the programs distributed to patrons at concerts. Yi-Ching Chen is responsible for the implementation and development of the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra’s educational programs and she oversees the A2SO’s volunteer force. BENJAMIN TISHERMAN, EDUCATION & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR
Clarinetist Benjamin Tisherman is thrilled to be joining the staff of the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra as Education and Community Engagement Coordinator. He brings his versatile background in community outreach, music education, and arts administration to the role. In 2018, Ben received his Master of Music from Carnegie Mellon University. During his time in Pittsburgh, Ben volunteered at the Pittsburgh Symphony’s Fiddlesticks Family Concerts as well as with Three Rivers Young Peoples Orchestras. In addition, he taught the popular lecture series Beyond the Notes at the Osher Institute for Lifelong Learning. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree in clarinet performance and arts education from Northwestern University, where he studied with Steve Cohen. No stranger to Michigan, Ben has performed at the Bay View Chamber Festival and has spent several summers teaching clarinet and chamber music at the Interlochen Center for the Arts.

KELVIN BAKER, MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER
Kelvin Baker, a native of West Michigan, joins the A2SO after serving in various capacities with organizations including the Cleveland Orchestra, West Michigan Symphony, Oberlin Artist Recital Series, Bowdoin International Music Festival, and CelloBello. Recently, Baker co-managed production and videography for a performance featuring members of the contemporary Grammy-winning ensemble, Eighth Blackbird. Outside of arts administration, Baker is also an accomplished trumpeter and has performed in Carnegie Hall, Walt Disney Hall, several churches throughout Michigan and Ohio, and in a full season as principal trumpet with the Hope Summer Repertory Theatre. Baker holds a B.M. in Musicology from Oberlin College & Conservatory of Music, and is a graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy.

MIGUEL CISNEROS, PRODUCTION COORDINATOR
Miguel Cisneros has worked with the Ann Arbor Symphony for since 2015. Miguel has sung with the Ann Arbor Symphony 3 times at the annual Holiday Pops concert. Miguel is currently an undeclared undergrad but loves complexity, ethics, and mathematics. He enjoys keeping the arts an active part of his life through his work as Production Coordinator with the A2SO and oversees rehearsals and everything behind the scenes at performances.
