We send out important information pertaining to concerts, such as parking information, program notes, and even special deals! WHAT VENUE SHOULD I GO TO?
Your A²SO plays at both Hill Auditorium and the Michigan Theater. Please check the ticket or event page of the concert you are attending to be sure you are headed to the correct venue.

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Mainstage and Holiday Pops concerts begin at 8:00 PM. Please arrive at least 15-minutes early to be comfortably seated and settled in before your concert experience begins. At 7:00 PM, featured guests present a captivating, fun, educational, engaging, and free pre-concert talk about the evening’s program.

WHERE CAN I FIND MY TICKETS AT WILL CALL?
Michigan Theater: Proceed directly into the first lobby where you will find helpful A²SO volunteers at a table with your tickets. No need to stop at the outside ticket windows.
Hill Auditorium: Will Call tables are located in the front lobby.
WHAT IF I LOSE MY TICKETS?
Call the A²SO office before the concert at 734.994.4801 or come to the venue and ask for replacement vouchers at Will Call.
WHAT IF I SHOW UP LATE?
We try our best to accommodate unanticipated delays. You are welcome to wait in the lobby just outside the house doors until a seating break or after the first piece, at which time a helpful usher will be happy to show you to your seat.
WHAT IF I CAN'T GO TO THE CONCERT ANYMORE?
Call us at 734.994.4801 up to 4 hours before the concert and we can exchange your tickets for another concert this season. You can also convert your tickets into a tax-deductible contribution to your A²SO.
HOW LONG DO CONCERTS TYPICALLY LAST?
Program length varies. Our Mainstage concerts typically last a little over two hours, including one 20-minute intermission. Our family concerts typically last a little over an hour, without an intermission.
WHAT ARE CHAMBER CONCERTS?
Chamber music is a form of classical music that is composed for a small group of instruments. Wind, string, and brass ensembles present programs that include everything from contemporary compositions to time-honored classics.
Open to listeners of all ages. We welcome buses or groups to drop off and pick up at the front door.
WHERE CAN I SEE A²SO CHAMBER CONCERTS?
Chamber Concerts are held at the Jewish Community Center, located at 2935 Birch Hollow Dr, Ann Arbor, MI 48108 (Stone School Road, North of I-94 bridge). Doors open at 1:00 PM for the 1:30 PM start of the performance. Chamber Concerts typically run a little over an hour. Seating at our chamber concerts is general admission in a comfortable cabaret-style. This unique concert setting includes light dessert refreshments at each table with a coffee and tea area available at 1:00 PM and during the recital.
ARE THE VENUES WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
If you need a little extra assistance we are happy to help. There is wheelchair access to both the Michigan Theater and Hill Auditorium, as well as wheelchair seating on the main floor at each of the venues. Please call for more information regarding accessible seating options. Assistive listening devices are available at the Michigan Theater and Hill Auditorium. Please ask an usher.

Pre-Concert Talks are held in the auditorium from 7:00 to 7:30 PM before every Mainstage concert. Conductors, composers, and guest artists speak about that evening’s repertoire. The Pre-Concert Talk series is generously sponsored by Rehmann.
The A²SO welcomes our community to experience Saturday morning dress rehearsals free of charge to educational and community groups.
Reservations are required; contact the box office to make your reservation at 734.994.4801.
Dress Rehearsal Policy
Please treat the rehearsal as a concert. Reservations are encouraged by calling the box office by the Friday before the performance. You should arrive at the venue by 10:20 AM so that you can be seated before the rehearsal begins. Please be sure to turn off and put away cell phones and other electronic devices which could generate sound or light distractions during the rehearsal. Please remain silent during the rehearsal and leave quietly if you need to before the end. If you must leave the hall, please re-enter at appropriate breaks. The use of cameras or recording devices of any kind is prohibited. The rehearsal will last 2 ½ hours with a 15-minute break in the middle. If you bring children, please leave the auditorium if they become unable to sit quietly. Any audience member whose behavior is disruptive to the rehearsing musicians or distracting to the other audience members will be asked to leave.
